#1 Getting to Anthony Quinn Bay<\/h2>\n

Anthony Quinn Bay is located on the east coast of Rhodes, about 15 km south of Rhodes Town and only about 4 km from the popular resort of Faliraki. The distance from Lindos to Anthony Quinn Bay is 35 km.<\/p>\n

The best way to get to Anthony Quinn Bay is by rental car. This gives you flexibility and allows you to decide for yourself how long you want to stay and whether you want to discover other highlights along the way. After about 10 km along the well-developed Rhodes Island Highway (E 95), you turn off towards Anthony Quinn Bay. The turn-off is at the level of the Lelis Taverna \u2014 after 1.5 km you are at the sea.<\/p>\n

Parking at Anthony Quinn Bay<\/h3>\n

There are several parking areas near Anthony Quinn Bay<\/strong> where you can park your rental car for free. However, the car park directly at the bay fills up very quickly, especially in high season, so many cars end up parking along the narrow access road, which makes manoeuvring a bit challenging.<\/p>\n

The main car park is located behind the Kounna Beach Bar<\/em>, from where it is only a few metres down to the sea. If it is full when you arrive, there is an alternative parking area at the neighbouring Ladiko Beach<\/strong> and another at the Ladiko Suites Hotel<\/em> above it.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udca1 Best time to visit:<\/strong> Anthony Quinn Bay is one of Rhodes’ top excursion destinations. In July and August, motorboats and sailing boats enter the bay every few minutes, and the car parks are completely overcrowded. In high season, you should aim to be at Anthony Quinn Bay before 9 a.m., as it gets busy by 10 a.m. at the latest. This way you not only secure a parking space, but also a good spot by the water.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

By bus to the bay<\/h3>\n

It is also possible to reach Anthony Quinn Bay by bus<\/strong>. In high season from June to the end of September, a bus runs from Rhodes Town to a car park above the bay, from where it is only about 500 metres down to the sea.<\/p>\n

However, you are much less flexible by bus in Rhodes, as it only runs a few times a day and exploring the surroundings of the bay is not as easy this way. In addition, expect to queue at the bus stop in the afternoon \u2014 you won’t be the only one who came here by bus.<\/p>\n

#2 Anthony Quinn Bay Tours<\/h2>\n

If you don’t have a car or prefer to reach the bay by water, you can book a boat trip to Anthony Quinn Bay. Tours are offered from both Rhodes Town and Faliraki, with a choice of different lengths and services.<\/p>\n

Most tours last between three and six hours, but full-day trips of eight to nine hours are also available \u2014 for example, Anthony Quinn Bay tours<\/strong> on large wooden ships or even speedboats.
